Palm Beach County stretches from Florida’s Atlantic coast into the state’s rural center and includes the northern edge of the Everglades national park. Its coastline has numerous golf courses and sandy beaches.

Palm Beach is one of my favourite areas to visit in the state of Florida. The Palm Beaches are home to gorgeous, white-sand beaches, endless water activities, luxurious shopping and accommodations, and unique dining options.

To help you experience all the tropical luxury that Palm Beach has to offer, I’ve partnered with Hotels.com to compile this guide of the top places to stay, eat, and play in Palm Beach, Florida.

STAY

Palm Beach, Florida is home to a variety of different lodging options from boutique bed and breakfasts to luxury beachfront resorts.

White Elephant Palm Beach

From an icon of Nantucket hospitality comes a fully-renovated destination resort in Palm Beach. White Elephant is the epitome of Palm Beach luxury. This contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean-revival architecture reflects the pulse and excitement of Palm Beach while capturing the spirit of home. The new property features 13 deluxe rooms and 19 suites which includes two penthouse suites located on the fourth floor, the Park & Palm Suites.

Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa

This upscale oceanfront boutique hotel boasts 134 rooms stocked with luxury amenities, making it the ideal spot to soak up the Florida sun by the soft, calming ocean breeze. Tideline provides Palm Beach luxury at a more affordable price. The property offers an exclusive setting that will leave you dreaming of your next visit. Tideline has been voted as one of Florida’s top resorts in a Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards contest.

The Brazilian Court

The Brazilian Court Hotel is a historic landmark infused throughout with Roaring 1920s glamour and boutique intimacy, our private, 80-room enclave is the classic Palm Beach luxury getaway — bringing together stunning, high-style accommodations and impeccable service for an unforgettable experience.

EAT

Avocado Grill

The Avocado Grill is located centrally, in downtown West Palm Beach. Its laid back vibe and locally sourced ingredients have attracted locals as well as visitors. The restaurant itself is smaller than most, but also features an outdoor patio with additional seating, so there usually isn’t much of a wait to dine here. Their menu features a variety of healthy dishes with a unique twist and of course, there are a ton of avocado options available!

Raw Juce

Raw Juce is located near Boynton Beach in Palm Beach County and became one of my favourite places to fuel up during my stay there because of their deliciously filling acai bowls. Raw Juce specializes in providing healthy and organic smoothies, acai bowls, salads, oatmeal, and freshly squeezed juices. The café is cool and welcoming if you decide to dine in, but I always preferred taking my acai bowls to the beach which is just a five-minute drive away.

The Circle

Brunch anyone? The Circle restaurant inside the luxurious Breakers Resort brings easygoing breakfast into old-world elegance. The Circle boasts soaring 30-foot frescoed ceilings and eight oval murals depicting Renaissance landscapes. Each morning, enjoy The Circle’s elaborate, artfully crafted buffet of hot and cold selections—from fresh fruit and pastries to crepes and omelets made to order.

PLAY

Swim with sharks

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know that the main reason I visit Palm Beach so frequently is to go diving with sharks. The waters around Palm Beach are home to a variety of unique shark species and swimming with them is truly a bucket list experience! I highly recommend taking a dip with these ocean predators on a trip to Palm Beach.

Learn more about the conservation benefits of shark diving in this post.

Check out the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum

Operated by the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, the waterfront lighthouse, museum and grounds feature 5,000 years of regional history. I highly recommend taking a guided climb in the lighthouse to learn more about the unique history of the Palm Beach area.

Go shopping on Worth Avenue

Worth Avenue is an upscale shopping and dining district in Palm Beach. The Avenue stretches four blocks from Lake Worth to the Atlantic Ocean. Worth Avenue also includes smaller, architecturally significant “vias” off the main avenue and is considered to be one of the most beautiful shopping locations in the state!
