This is hands down my favourite way to season a sustainable salmon filet at home!

My go-to salmon seasoning

This is my favourite way to season salmon at home. Perfect for entertaining, date night, or a quick weeknight dinner. It's brushed in a garlic butter and baked, which pretty much means you can't go wrong with this recipe!

Equipment

  • Baking tray
  • Small mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 salmon filet (skin on) aprox. 2 lbs
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Place a large piece of foil on baking sheet, place salmon fillet on top (skin side down)
  • Combine melted butter and minced garlic.
  • Brush half of the butter mixture over salmon. Combine the remaining spices in a small bowl and evenly sprinkle over salmon.
  • Drizzle with the rest of the garlic butter.
  • Bake salmon for 15-20 minutes and then, enjoy!
