After writing my PADI Women’s Dive Day post featuring my favourite dive sites around the world, I realized that I’ve barely scratched the surface when it comes to exploring our beautiful ocean. Which is what lead me to create today’s post: my scuba diving bucket list!

These are all of the places that I’m hoping to have the chance to dive and explore in the near future. Have you already been to any of these sites? Let me know down below!

South Africa – Sardine Run

South Africa has been at the top of my travel bucket list for quite some time; I’ve dreamed of cage diving with Great Whites and coming face to face with the Big Five on a safari adventure. But the main reason that I’m dying to travel to South Africa is to witness the sardine run, one of the most incredible natural phenomenon in the world.

Raja Ampat, Indonesia – Untouched Coral Reefs

I’ve been trying to win the loterry ever since discovering the crazy expensive, but crazy beautiful Raja Ampat. This looks like scuba diving heaven and I’m definitely planning on diving here as soon as I can!

Palau, Micronesia – Sharks

This place is a hot spot for sharks, which means it’s an absolute must for me to visit!

Egyptian Red Sea – Cool Wrecks

Wrecks are why we dive and ever since my first wreck dive I’ve been dreaming of getting out to Egypt to dive the Thistlegorm wreck.

Neptune Islands, South Australia – Sharks

Two words: Great. Whites.

Darwins Arch, Galapagos Islands – Marine Life

Ever since I became a diver I’ve dreamed of exploring the Galapagos Islands and all of the crazy biodiversity that lives here. I’ve had people describe this as the best dive site in the entire world; spotting whale sharks, Galapagos sharks, eels, eagle rays, Hammerheads, and turtles all on one dive!

Tiger Beach, Bahamas – Sharks

With all the shark diving that I’ve done, I’m not sure how I haven’t made it to Tiger Beach yet…this dive will definitely be happening in the VERY near future!

Barracuda Point, Malaysia – Diverse Marine Life

Not that I am particularly inclined to cozy up with Barracuda, but reading about the island that Jaques Cousteau discovered back in the 70’s sparked my interest and landed it on a spot on my diving bucket list.
