Patio season officially opens for many places in Ontario today, including The City of Guelph. Ontario’s Stage 2 reopening plan allows patios, hair salons, splash pads, and campsites in certain parts of the province to reopen.
Restaurants are opening patios with certain restrictions including limited seating capacity, time limits on stays, and new health and safety protocols.
The City of Guelph is also allowing some restaurants to expand their patios into their parking spaces, so some of your favourite spots that didn’t have outdoor seating previously, might be welcoming you to their new patio this weekend.
Please keep in mind that each establishment has its own set of health and safety guidelines as well as reservation protocols. Please check each restaurant individually for specific information about social distancing guidelines, sanitation, masks, etc. as well as how to book a reservation.
